About the product description:

Dairy-Free is who we really are. Non-Dairy was also true but since we found out some other companies cheat by using dairy by-products but still claim "non-dairy" status, we wanted everyone to know where we stand.

Saying Milk Alternative is also who we are. Our product truly provides an alternative to dairy milk for those who can't or don't want to have dairy.

The word "Alternative" implies a positive choice versus "Substitute" which can imply a second best choice or not quite as good as the orginal so we like "Alternative" better.
